How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Mike Feinman has been in the business brokerage space for 10 years, serving mostly small businesses and lower-middle market clients. Alex Maggi is a CPA and CFA who has been a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) for 15 years, and was CFO overseeing the sale of his employer company through a boutique investment bank. In M&A, buyers and sellers rely on a number of experts on their deal teams in areas as diverse as law, human resources, accounting, and operations. As with many deal team participants, Alex chose to channel his experience and efforts to M&A full time, obtaining certifications from both IMAA and AMAA. Mike and Alex formed Ravelin Pointe Capital Advisors to combine their unique experience and skill sets in the service of a broader set of clients.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Ravelin Pointe develops relationships with business owners at any stage of their journey. Ideally, this begins well before an exit transaction, affording owners the time to maximize the value of their sale and reduce risks that can derail deals. We bring the necessary mix of analytical, quantitative, and marketing expertise to bear in creating a market for clients' companies and closing their sales.

Ravelin Pointe's professionals operate in three states, but we can serve clients nationally.

Ravelin Pointe's team operates remotely. While we work to keep travel costs down for clients, we do travel as needed to client locations in order to facilitate information gathering and in-person meetings with buyers.
